Welcome to the Remark-able Ranch family! If you are searching for high-quality Highland cattle raised with deep love and care, you have found the perfect place.

When you bring home one of our beautiful, purebred cattle, you are getting more than just a wonderful, easy-to-socialize animal. You are also gaining our support to ensure your new herd member transitions into their new home and thrives.

Our relationship does not end on moving day. You are always welcome back to the ranch whenever you have questions. To help you get started, we happily offer a one-time free breeding service for your new heifer with an unrelated bull. We currently have four breeding bulls in our lineup, offering a great variety of different colors, ages, registration statuses, and lineages to find the right match. We also love staying connected with our ranch family and offer special discounted pricing for our repeat clients.

Summer Calves (unregistered)

PRECIOUS, heifer

Named by our visiting clients for her sweet demeanor, this calf is suspected to be silver but has not been color tested and color is likely to change over the first year.

Date of Birth: 07/05/26

Available: At weaning in Fall. 1/2 down holds her now!

MOCHA, heifer

A fluffy dream, this calf is suspected to be dun likely with light highlights based on siblings but has not been color tested and color is subject to change over the first year. Appears to be small in stature but the height of her ancesters is unknown, beyond her Dam (44") and Sire (50").

MARSHMALLOW, heifer

White as a fluffy cloud, her friends call her "Marsha". She naturaly stands at attention with the pride of a white highland girl. This calf is expected to be white based on siblings but has not been color tested and color is subject to change over the first year.

SNOW WHITE, heifer

An gorgeous fluffy heifer in that unusual color: white! The pink nose makes her seem even more sweet. She keeps her hairy status even during the hot summer. Her friends call her "Snowie" and she responds to her name and is bucket trained. She can be halter trained if needed. She is a full sized highland with a straight top line and nice feet. Her dam has symmetrical horns and will eat from your hand even though she was not socialized for our ranch. Many of our friends and clients will miss pretty Snowie when we sell her!

Oliver, bull calf

You just need to see this one to understand! Oliver is a beautiful silver bull; lots of dossan (bangs like his dam, you wonder how he can see already!). He would make a great herd sire. Bucket trained, comes to his name, switches pastures easily even crossing roads. He could be steered and make a great pet, a herd babysitter, or companion to mature cows/bulls but it would seem a shame to steer him! He is so mild tempered and easy to work with while being that wonderful color! (note: not color tested but willing to do so). He was named by a group of IU Biology majors and we all like to call him "Ollie". Ollie will be SO sorely missed when he goes to his forever home!

RED BULL, bull calf

A nicely conformant red bull with highlights; lots of curly bangs like his sire (pictured below). Would make a great herd sire. Bucket trained, responds to his name. Switches pastures easily even when crossing roads. He could be steered and make a great pet, a herd babysitter, or companion to mature cows/bulls but it would seem a shame to steer him. He looks so much like a red and yellow version of his magnificent sire, Finnegan. (note: not color tested). Why "Red Bull"? : he was named by a group of young men based on the energy drink!

CHASE, bull calf

A nicely conformant bull of the classic red color; lots of hair and unrelated to our current breeding bulls Finnegan, Blackjack or Emilio. Would make a great herd sire (in fact we will begin to use him to breed soon). Halter trained, bucket trained, responds to his name, switches pastures easily. We will not steer this bull since we will use him to breed certain heifers soon (Note: not color tested)

Strong, sleek bull calf in a deep dun color. Horned. VERY cute. He is a healthy well developing bull calf that is 50% dexter, 50% highland. He is expected non-chondro (can be tested). Bucket trained, eats from your hand and eats from the hands of visitors across our fences.

Structurally correct, classic deep red currently with lots of highlights, Lots of hair, sweet tempered.

Finnegan is our AHCA registered SIlver bull. We have UC Davis color testing on Finn. Halter trained and highly socialized in his first few years, he remains very mild tempered today. Finn gives us our fluffiest calves.
